Indian Neuromuscular Summer School
A landmark advanced training programme bringing together India's foremost neurologists and world-renowned international faculty for an intensive week of learning, collaboration, and discovery.
About the Programme
Inspired by the renowned Paris Summer School—which has been empowering specialists in neuromuscular expertise for three decades—the Indian NMSS is a unique and landmark opportunity for the region.
Carefully selected mid-level and senior neurologists from India and neighbouring countries—Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Kenya, Nepal, Laos, Vietnam and Iraq—will come together for 7 days of intensive lectures, case discussions and multiple parallel workshops from July 20–26, 2026, hosted under the aegis of the Neurology and Paediatrics Department of St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru.

Faculty
An exceptional assembly of 12 international and 26+ national experts — clinicians, researchers, and therapists at the forefront of neuromuscular medicine.
How Each Day Is Structured
Each day of the NMSS runs three simultaneous tracks — giving participants a rich, multi-layered experience. The main school, hands-on workshops, and open symposia all happen in parallel.
Intensive lectures, plenary sessions, and expert case discussions for selected NMSS participants. Covers the full breadth of neuromuscular disease — from clinical myology and neurophysiology to novel therapeutics and MDT care.
Hands-on, skills-based workshops running simultaneously with the main programme. Topics rotate daily — muscle imaging, neurophysiology, genetics interpretation, respiratory care, and rehabilitation techniques.
Seven standalone one-day symposia running in parallel — each a deep-dive into a focused topic, led by world-renowned faculty. Open to all registered delegates, not just NMSS participants.
